3 weeks

Oliver turned three weeks old yesterday. As a three week old Oliver has developed a few favorite activities -- eating (as of Monday he was up to 9 pounds 6 ounces), sleeping (during the day), going for walks (if you see someone walking around Newburyport with a baby at 2 AM it's probably Davis - as Davis says - "mild mannered scientist by day, baby whisperer by night"), and being held. We also think he is starting to become as addicted to the show "Weeds" as his parents -- we've made it through the first two seasons in the past week.

    So cute! I love those socks. Maybe Oliver is trying to be a sumo wrestler so his training schedule involves constant eating from day 1.

    We think Oliver looks a little like baby Ethan in these pictures. Maybe it's just the matching play mat, or the dark hair, but there is definitely a resemblance. It sounds like Oliver is taking after Ethan in the eating department too. :)

    Maybe Oliver knows that the only time it's cool enough to walk outside lately is 2 am.... he's just smarter than the rest of us. Sleeping during the hot days and being away during the cool nights. I can't believe how much bigger he is already -- we can't wait to come and visit this weekend.
