Rainy Friday

A little over a year ago Davis rescued a souwester from my parent's yard sale. I thought that the hat would come home with us and take up permanent residency in our basement. Not so - the hat has become a staple in Davis's wardrobe. Come rain, snow, sleet, hail... the souwester makes an appearance. I have become amazed at the versatility of the souwester - apparently it can be worn with a suit, on a run, to mow the lawn, to shovel snow- I could go on and on. One could say it is Davis's "little black dress."

On this rainy Friday we managed to wrestle the hat away from Davis.
