Grammar can be downright tricky. Right now Oliver uses "
us's" instead of we and our. As in "
us's house," "what are
us's doin'?". Well, I am going to, again, steal his phrase and give another update on what
us's are up to.
Henni's first tooth just finally broke through; the tooth took about 2 weeks to fully emerge. She is quite proud of her tooth - although she won't let me get a picture of it.

Between the teething and the heat we've all been consuming an embarrassing number of
Popsicles.

We also have been spending a good deal of time in our little pool. The other night Oliver turned the pool into a mud pit. There was a brief second when Davis and I thought perhaps we should pull him out, but he was so happy (and busy) we decide to let him stay in - he played in the mud pit for a good couple hours.

And finally, chickens! Our neighbors got three chickens a couple weeks ago. Last weekend they went away so we chicken-sat. Both Oliver and
Henni loved feeding them. Pretty fun to have chickens just over the fence. The only issue is that Oliver is so in love with the chickens (and the boys next door) that his face is now either pushed up against the fence or he is halfway over the fence trying to climb into their backyard.
