Trains and Tractors

Oliver loves trains. At any given time there is a huge train track taking up our entire living room and Oliver usually has a train (or 5) in his pocket and in his bed.


Given his affinity for trains, when faced with a rainy day on our vacation last week we headed to the Boothbay Railway Museum.

The museum has a train which one can ride. Oliver had a lot of fun riding on the train.

And both Henni and Oliver loved climbing on the trains.
The museum also had a collection of old tractors. We were pleasantly surprised to find a tractor that looks just like Katy from Katy and the Big Snow - and to find that the brand of tractor was Oliver.
While Oliver got a kick out of the Oliver tractor, Henni fell in love with a John Deere. Seriously, Henni finagled her way onto the tractor and laughed there forever. When we removed or, or when Oliver tried to take a turn, she was not pleased - so we popped her back on and she was happy again.
